Tim Scott

writer, director 
Tim Scott is the Chief Executive and Artistic Director of Music Theater Heritage in Kansas City, where he leads the organization’s artistic vision and development of new work. As the creator and director of Moby Dick: A Sea Shanty, he focuses on bold, actor-driven storytelling that blends music and narrative into immersive theatrical experiences. His work emphasizes inventive staging, ensemble collaboration, and reimagining classic material for contemporary audiences.

Fritz Hutchison

Fritz Hutchison is a drummer and a singer and a songwriter and a guitarist and a producer and a bandleader and a friend and a sibling and a banjo player and he just wants to do a good job and make it fun for everybody. For Moby Dick: A Sea Shanty, he developed the show’s musical language, shaping traditional sea shanties and folk music into a dynamic narrative performed live onstage.
